RIBBING

Using the Long Tail Cast-On and smaller needles, CO 70 (80, 90) sts (see Special Techniques on Page 120 for visual tutorial).

If using a 32in circ for the Magic Loop Method, pm at end of cast-on sts to denote start of round. Join in round, distributing stitches evenly onto both needles, being careful not to twist (see Stitch Guide on Page 118 for link to visual tutorial).

If using a 16in circ, pm at end of cast-on stitches to denote start of round. Join in round, being careful not to twist.

Rnd 1: *[K1tbl, p1] three times, [k1, p1] twice; rep from * to end of rnd.

Rep Rnd 1 until ribbing measures approx 2in/5cm from CO edge (or until desired length).
